Training Programme Overview

All of our Security Staff undertake the following industry training depending on the deployment requirement:

Security guarding

The SIA Qualification:
Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry.

The Security Guard course runs over four days and is divided into three keys units:
1. Working in the Private Security Industry.
2. Working as a Security Guard.
3. Conflict Management.

Door Supervisor

SIA Qualification:
Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
The Door Supervision course enables you to work both as a professional Door Supervisor and a Security Guard.

About the SIA Door Supervisor course:
The SIA Door Supervisor course runs over 4 days and is divided into 4 units:
1. Working in the Private Security Industry.
2. Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
3. Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry.
4. Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry.

CCTV

SIA Qualification:
Level 2 Award for Working as a CCTV Operator (Public Space Surveillance) within the Private Security Industry.

The SIA CCTV course runs over three days and is divided into three units:
1. Working in the Private Security Industry.
2. Working as a CCTV Operator.
3. The Practical Use of CCTV Systems.

Close Protection

SIA Qualification:
Level 3 Award in Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry.

Being a Close Protection Officer can be extremely demanding and requires in-depth knowledge and training. This means the Close Protection training course covers a broad range of skills, from threat assessment, operational planning and reconnaissance, to vehicle techniques, search procedures and close protection teamwork.

The Close Protection course runs over 16 days and consists of three units:
1. Working in the Private Security Industry.
2. Working as a Close Protection Operative.
3. Conflict Management

In addition to the minimum course content required by the SIA, our training also includes the following units
1. First Aid at Work + Defibrillator Training
2. Evasive Driving and/or Convoy Driving
3. Introduction to Short Firearms
4. Close Combat Training
5. Anti-Ambush Training
6. Accommodation.
