Crime in Colchester
In May 2016, it was reported that Colchester town centre has the highest crime rate in Essex. According to UK Crime Stats, Colchester has a crime rate of 32.6 per 1,000 residents. On average, there have been 325 crimes per month in the town centre since December 2010.
